How Does CEREC Work?

Unlike traditional crown procedures, CEREC one-visit crowns require no messy impressions. There’s also no need to wear temporary crowns between appointments. You don’t have to wait for the dental lab to create your custom crowns, and you don’t have to find the time for two separate dental appointments. We simply take a digital scan of the tooth that needs a crown, and using special computer software, we design a crown for you chairside, right before your eyes! The design is then transmitted to the computerized milling unit in our dental office, which mills a block of porcelain into your crown within minutes. Using completely computerized design and manufacturing, CEREC one-visit crowns technology eliminates the need to wait for quality dental restorations!
