Our dental office staff, hygienists, dental assistants, and coordinators ensure that your dental visit is comfortable, informative, and productive every step of the way. The dentists are incredibly proud to have them at Glastonbury Dental Associates and believe they will meet your needs. Take a moment to learn a bit more about their stories and how they ended up at our dental office!

Lori, Office Manager

Lori’s career in the oral healthcare field spans over two decades so far, and she first joined the team at Glastonbury Dental Associates in 2007. She really enjoys her position here because she’s able to help patients better understand their treatments and build strong relationships with them over time. She also loves working alongside such excellent dentists and staff members!

Originally from Hartford, Lori hails from a small, tight-knit family. Outside of work, you can typically find her traveling or curling up with a good book.

An interesting fact about Lori: she really enjoys being on the beach in the wintertime.

Judy, Business Team

Judy is from Glastonbury, and she has been with our office for well over a decade. She values having the opportunity to build relationships with our patients as well as her coworkers.

Judy has four children, all of whom are now adults. She also has two grandchildren. She loves going on adventures, whether it’s trying a new restaurant or simply exploring Connecticut and Maine. She spends a lot of time reading and gardening.

Lenore, Hygiene Coordinator

Lenore has been in the dental field for more than 15 years. Her favorite part of the job is the awesome people that she helps and works alongside.

Lenore is married, and all of her children have reached adulthood. She has a passion for traveling, and she spends a lot of time gardening, reading, and simply being outside. A fun fact about her is that she and her husband celebrated their 20th anniversary by running a half marathon in Disney!

Sarah, Patient Coordinator

Sarah used to work as an assistant to Dr. Matthew Scoles, but she has since transitioned to the front desk, where she enjoys answering patients’ questions and helping them gain a better understanding of their treatment.

Sarah has been happily married for more than 15 years and has two wonderful children. She enjoys traveling to Portugal (she even speaks Portuguese!), and she loves going camping and spending time at the beach.

Laura, Certified Dental Assistant

Laura has been in the dental field for more than three decades. She highly values the people she works alongside, and she is happy to have been able to form relationships with so many patients over the years.

Laura’s hobbies include traveling, photography, and bird watching. One fun fact about her is that she enjoys adult coloring, and she has had some of her work featured in adult coloring books.

Yajaira, Dental Assistant

Originally from Hartford, Yajaira studied dental assisting at the Porter and Chester Institute and graduated in 2013.  Yari has experience with Invisalign, and she is CEREC glazed certified. She enjoys being able to work with a team that feels like family.

Yajaira has a daughter, and they enjoy a lot of love, uniqueness, and laughter at home. In her spare time, Yajaira enjoys working out, listening to music, cooking new recipes, and watching movies. One of her favorite fun things to do is sing karaoke!

Mary S., Certified Dental Assistant

Mary studied dental assisting at the Windham Technical School. Having been in the dental field for well over 20 years, she enjoys the fact that she gets to see different faces and help with different procedures every day.

Mary is married with three children, and two grandchildren. She has a deep love of outdoor activities and often goes hiking, snowmobiling, and kayaking. A fun fact about her is that she and her husband own a construction company; she’s even licensed to drive a dump truck!

Liz, Dental Hygienist

A Glastonbury native, Liz earned a bachelor’s degree from the Forsyth School of Dental Hygiene as well as a master’s degree from the Fones School of Dental Hygiene. She greatly appreciates having the chance to get to know her patients and their families beyond the care that they receive at our office.

Liz is married and has a child. She also has three pets: two cats and a dog. In her spare time, she likes to travel, explore new places, and go to all kinds of restaurants.

Stephanie, Dental Hygienist

A native of Colchester, Stephanie went to Tunxis Community College for her dental hygiene degree and is certified in local anesthesia and CPR. She always loves having the chance to meet new people and making a difference in their lives as part of her job.

Stephanie lives with her husband, her daughters, and their dog. Her hobbies include reading books, visiting the beach, snowboarding, and traveling.

Lauren I., Dental Hygienist

Hailing from Southington, Lauren attended the University of New Haven and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene in 2010. Over the course of her career, she has served a number of communities. She values the relationships that she has been able to build with patients and aims to help them all have truly relaxing visits.

Lauren is happily married with two sons (Luke and Logan). When she’s not at the office, she can often be found working out, listening to country music, baking, and watching sports.

Carol, Dental Hygienist

Carol holds associates degrees in both Dental Assisting and Dental Hygiene, and she first joined the Glastonbury Dental Associates team in 1999. She is an RDH with advanced training in infection control and CPR. Her favorite part of this position is being able to build such strong relationships with the patients over time!

An East Windsor native, Carol has a young daughter at home. Outside of work, her favorite pastime is hanging out with beloved family members and friends.

An interesting fact about Carol: she is passionate about volunteering and regularly serves underserved neighbors in need of important dental care.

Mary P., Dental Hygienist

Mary has been a hygienist for over 30 years, all of those years she has practiced at Glastonbury Dental Associates. Mary enjoys getting to know her patients and their families so she can help incorporate a dental care routine that is best for each patient.

Mary has two grown children. She and her husband enjoy traveling throughout the Northeast.

Nicole, Business Administrator

A native of South Windsor, Nicole went to school at the Porter and Chester Institute. She spent five years working as a dental assistant before making a change to the administrative side of dentistry. She considers gaining the trust of our patients and helping them understand their benefits to be the best part of her job.

Nicole and her husband Louis have been together for 12 years and have a two-year-old son named Jaxson.

Ruth, Dental Hygienist

A healthy mouth impacts so much in our lives, from our whole-body health to our mental health and confidence, so Ruth loves seeing our patients finish their visits with a bigger smile than when they came in! She completed her associate degree in dental hygiene following a certificate program in Certified Nursing Assisting. She enjoys attending continuing education courses throughout the year and volunteering at Connecticut's annual free dental clinic. She is also an active member of the Connecticut Dental Hygienists Association.

Ruth is married with two wonderful daughters and a grumpy cat, and in her downtime, she likes to read, garden, and bake (all while being barefoot as much as possible!).

Diana, Dental Hygienist

Diana is a native of South Windsor and has been in the dental field for more than 30 years. She has previously worked as a dental assistant and orthodontic assistant, and she regularly attends continuing education classes in order to learn more about dental hygiene and dentistry. She works alongside our other team members to help our patients achieve healthier, more attractive smiles.

Diana’s hobbies include reading, traveling, live theater, ballet, outdoor bike riding, rollerblading, snowshoeing, hiking, and golfing. She is also big on health and fitness, and she often practices yoga, attends weightlifting classes, and participates in group fitness. A fun fact about Diana is that she is a licensed real estate agent!

Isis, Dental Assistant

Hailing from NY, Isis completed her education at the Westchester School for Dental Assisting. She is proud to be part of a team that helps people love their smiles.

Isis has a daughter. She is a CT State Licensed Esthetician, and she is passionate about skincare and beauty. She enjoys watching documentaries, reading, and roller skating. An interesting fact about Isis is that she is named after the Egyptian goddess.

Kaitlyn, Assistant

Kaitlyn has previously worked in both a private practice and at the Dental Clinic at UConn Health in Farmington. She is so happy to be able to work alongside such a wonderful team of doctors, and she is thankful for the friendships she has been able to form with her coworkers.

Kaitlyn is a “professional auntie” to Alivia and Peyton, and she has two dogs: a German Shepherd named Tucker and a Golden Retriever named Brody. She spends a lot of time going to local coffee shops, wineries, breweries and spends the summer in Westerly, RI. Kaitlyn is a big fan of the Red Sox and the UConn Huskies. Someday she hopes to see U2 perform at The Sphere in Las Vegas.

Kianna, Dental Assistant

Kianna is from Bloomfield. Her professional background includes endodontics and orthodontics. Kianna really enjoys talking to patients about their life experiences.

Kianna’s family includes two daughters. She absolutely loves baking, and her other hobbies include going to the movies, trying out new restaurants, and making arts and crafts with her girls.

Lauren “LC”, Dental Hygienist

Lauren is from South Glastonbury. She completed her associate’s degree in Dental Hygiene at Tunxis, and she earned a master’s in Dental Hygiene Education from the Forsyth School of Dental Hygiene at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. She has served as a clinical instructor for the Tunxis Dental Hygiene program. She loves getting to know patients of all ages and guiding them toward improved oral health.

Lauren loves her family, which includes her husband and her two daughters. Outside of the office, she spends a lot of time with her friends and loved ones.

Rhiannon, Dental Assistant

Rhiannon hails from Manchester and while studying dental assisting at the Porter and Chester Institute she interned at Glastonbury Dental! She is proud to work alongside such a wonderful team.

Rhiannon has three siblings: two brothers and a sister. Her hobbies include reading, going to the gym, and hiking.

Trisha, Registered Dental Assistant

Trisha is a 10+ year dental veteran, and since graduating with her Associate of Dental Hygiene degree from the Lincoln College of New England, her focus has been on helping others achieve healthy, attractive smiles.

Originally from Berlin, CT, Trisha and her husband, Joe, have two daughters, Ella and Madison. When she isn’t working, she likes to do interior design and spend time outdoors with her family
